Stevans

Pop Rock / Switzerland
Formed in Geneva 2003, indie-rockers Stevans have long since conquered the local scene and, with a new album helmed by in-demand producer Will Jackson just released, seem set to make waves in the rest of Europe and beyond.

The trio of Yvan Franel, Bruno Tancredi and John Chirico released their self-titled debut album in 2007 and it spawned the three singles and radio favourites Rocky, Drunken Pervert, Emotional Cash and Monday's Wedding. It also paved the way for the band becoming live favourites and they certainly paid their dues on the road with over 200 concerts over the next couple of years in Zurich, Reims, Lyon, Paris, Lisbon, Porto, Manchester and London. They also played support to the likes of Editors, The Rakes, Infadels, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol and Rita Mitsouko and performed at the Paleo and the Montreux Jazz festivals, where they opened for Deep Purple.

New album Fake was recorded in 2009 and has already produced the hit single Vodka Redgirls.
