Interpol to light up Thursday night at Caribana
Pioneering New York rockers make only Swiss Romande festival performance
The Caribana Festival is excited to announce that Interpol will play the 21st edition of the festival on Thursday 9 June 2011.
The New York group, who redefined indie rock in the early part of the 21st century, will bring their distinctive sound to Crans-sur-Nyon in an exclusive Swiss Romande summer festival performance.
The band released their fourth self-titled album in September last year - featuring the hits Summer Well, Lights and Barricades - which again showcased Paul Banks' unique baritone, the band's trademark stark sound and their always sharp songwriting.
Their thrilling live shows also feature cuts such as Obstacle 1, Slow Hands, Evil, Narc, NYC, C’mere and Mammoth from their previous albums.
