2011 Festival to offer carpooling service

 The Caribana Festival has long been committed to sustainable development and respect for the environment and this year it is offering a carpooling initiative to reduce energy consumption.

The festival has already put in place measures to promote free and efficient public transport, optimum waste management and efforts to reduce the amount of waste at the festival grounds.

Now we are introducing a carpooling service to reduce the number of cars travelling to the festival and consequently the amount of energy consumed.  So if you are looking to get to the festival or have room to spare, sign up for free at www.ecovoiturage.ch and search for and offer trips online or via SMS. Together we  travel better while spending less !
